Yarroweyah

Yarroweyah is a town in northern Victoria, Australia. The town is located in the Moira Shire Local Government Area, 251 kilometres north of the state capital, Melbourne and 10 kilometres west of Cobram. The town is situated on the intersection of the Goulburn Valley Highway and Murray Valley Highways.
Yarroweyah was established as a soldier settlement area after World War II. However it was not until 2005 that the town was connected to a reticulated potable town water supply. The Yarroweyah Football Club, nicknamed “The Hoppers”, are based in the town.
