Binalong Bay
Located in the North East area of Tasmania, Binalong Bay is in the Dorset local government area, and within the electoral seat of Lyons.
Binalong Bay is a rural locality within Break O’Day in the North-east region of Tasmania. The village is a picturesque place situated in the southern end of the Bay of Fires Conservation Area.
Renowned for its crystal clear water, stretches of pure white sand beaches and burnt orange lichen covered granite boulders, this is one of the most beautiful parts of the Island.
Binalong Bay is 262 kilometres from the capital city of Hobart and can be reached within three and a half hours of travel via National Highway 1 and Esk Highway/A4.

At the 2021 national census, the population of 7216 (Including Binalong Bay) was 3563 people. Out of those, 1777 were male and 1788 were female.
