Black Hills is a rural locality within the Southern Midlands and Derwent Valley in the Central and South-east part of Tasmania.

Black Hills is 46 kilometres from the capital city of Hobart and can be reached within an hour of travel via National Highway 1 and Lyell Highway/A10.
